Daniel Aaron Matatiaho, DDS

Dr. Daniel Aaron Matatiaho graduated Cum Laude from the prestigious University of Southern California’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry – world renowned for its advanced cosmetic and restorative training. During his time there, he immersed himself in the concepts of “Bio-mimmetic” minimally invasive dentistry. Biomimetic dentistry embodies the concepts of restoring teeth with techniques and materials that are balanced with the biologic activity of the natural tooth while still maintaining original function, strength and esthetic of the tooth—essentially the idea of conserving healthy and vital tooth structure without sacrificing function and esthetics. It helps to avoid root canals and other complications caused by aggressive drilling, and its strength comes from advanced adhesion of tooth to prosthetic material. 

Dr. Daniel is known for his careful touch and thorough judgment of restoring teeth to regain form and function that involves careful and calculated planning, resulting in predictable and beautiful results. He carefully plans every detail of a cosmetic case utilizing the latest and greatest tools to accurately plan the desired outcome. Dr. Daniel knows that precision restorations make all the difference for his patients, so he takes his time to meticulously plan  strategies to ensure they get a natural and good looking smile – one perfectly designed to meet their personal needs.

Dr. Daniel is a big proponent of continuing education—he always stays on top of new techniques, materials and procedures to stay current on the best and greatest treatment outcomes for his patients. Dr. Daniel enjoys learning from his patients as well, and believes the lifelong patients are also lifelong friends. 

Dr. Daniel is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the California Dental Association (CDA) and Alpha Omega Dental Society in Los Angeles.
